she's half-human, half-moth. human on her father's side, moth on her mother's
has a pair of antennae that sprout from her forehead, they have the same properties as normal antennae, such as olfactory
they aren't visible most of the time, as she hides them with her hair and brushes them behind her ears
very rarely talks, mostly communicates with gestures & antennae
her mother died when she was young, and was "raised" by her father, a scientist
he doesn't care for laelia beyond being an interesting test subject
also has a pair of wings that can fit under most of her clothing
can't actually fly, but they're useful for slightly hovering for a few moments and slowing down falls
likes spending time outdoors by herself and read under trees
has scotopic vision
makes her own clothes, mostly dresses and loose-fitting shirt plus skirts
it's pronounce LIE-lee-a btw, also laelia is type of orchid
